It begins with you — your stories, memories, changing thoughts, fleeting memories, or something about yourself you hope never to outgrow. Through a series of reflective prompts, you are invited to share a little of who you are. These words become the starting point for my own interpretation, shaped into a one-of-a-kind ceramic portrait by hand.
No two stories are alike, and no two portraits will be the same. Rather than recreating a likeness, each piece is an interpretation of the person behind the words — a small part of someone, given form in clay.
There is no need to make your answers beautiful. Just make them yours.
